Bowfin Fish

Anyone fish for these?

...but I've never caught one. They have a big bastard in a huge fish tank at Cabellas. That's the closest I got.

I have had bait bit in half though, so maybe....

They have lots of sharp teeth.

We have some toothy critters around here, but none like that.

In 1997 I caught a blue shark off the coast of Rhode Island. 225 pounds and he had some teeth too!
The color of that fish was incredible. This picture of that kind of shark does not do it justice.



Bluefish

Son in Law caught one about 2 foot long a few weeks ago in a Creek damned up as waterfowl Inpoundments. Caught in on a Roostertail Spinner.
