UPDATE: Man arrested after shooting intruders in Fair Oaks

FAIR OAKS, CA - A 60-year-old Fair Oaks man took matters into his own hands when he discovered two alleged intruders in his home early Wednesday morning.

Sacramento County Sheriff's spokesman Jason Ramos said a preliminary investigation revealed Jerry Rasmussen was disturbed by an unknown man in his home sometime after 2 a.m. Rasmussen drew his handgun and fired at the suspected intruder, hitting the individual at least once before the person was able to escape, said Ramos.

Rasmussen then found a second intruder standing in the doorway of one of his bedrooms and shot the person before he could flee. Rasmussen then called authorities to report the incident, said Ramos.

I say we give, Jerry Rasmussen , a parade and a new S&W .357. Did'nt read the click-on. Were the perps. captured on did they die?

Rasmussen was an EX-FELON sez the article. Hmmmmmmmmmm EX-FELON means NO LONGER A FELON. He needs ME on the jury. He would walk unless he has paper in the last 10 years.
