Bread lines and Gas rationing was only for the little man, Political, Civic and Indrustrial leaders never had the pleasure of standing in line, different Social classes was still the norm!
So the little man gets it as with any form of Gov. at least we can better ourselves and move up the ladder.

Will they ever learn? Not as long as there are exploitive snake-oil salesman like Obama to promise them the moon and deliver them foodstamps and permanent dependency.

They willingly sacrifice freedom for security, and as the saying goes, they will end up with neither.
