When you go in September, make sure to bring sandworms and clams. Porgies love them. Number 4 or number 6 hook. Dont use the whole worm or they will just rip it off the hook. Short pieces are best. If you are going on a charter, tip the mate and have him fillet your porgies. They are bony....but they are good. I like them fried, but there are lots of ways to do it.
