Some interesting thoughts... Empty Re: Some interesting thoughts...

This is a powerful essay, Chris. As I've said before, liberals are in fear of being found out. Living in a quiet internal desperation whose diametric outward emotion perfectly contradicts what they really think. Of course they're in fear. They want to be thought of as smart but they also don't want to agree with life's truisms.

Why not, you might ask.

It's really quite simple. They don't want to grow up. They don't want to be like their parents or grandparents. War and hate and the reality that people who don't like you might actually be smarter than you are, for one glaring example. That they might not like you because you truly are an idiot is a horse's pill to swallow. So they follow the mantra that people really just don't know how smart they really are. That the Old Guarde cannot conceive of a world view so progressive it has never been fully enacted so that should somehow make them intellectually untouchable.

The untouchables are a caste system segment in India. No one with a sense of social self preservation wants anything to do with them.

Just as there are no redeeming values in the second, so too in the first. Post modern liberalism is like a caste system segment whose membership wants to break free of it's "untouchable" thinking in a society which operates best when accepting reality and admitting its own hypocritical human nature. Perhaps that segment of India's lowest caste would set out to punish its perceived enemies were it granted freedom. After all, what do you do with your first bit of freedom but seek revenge upon those who appear to you to have been your captors?

Freedom is power and power is money and money is freedom.

Freedom gave progressives the chance to earn money, then wield power, then abuse freedom. But not their own freedom, freedom of those who disagree with them. All because they refuse to change their views to coincide with reality all around them.

Don't become the opposite side of the same coin. Don't buy into their attempts at making you fear them or their pompous and unworkable utopian cultural visions. Real liberty always corrects unnatural influences on a society. As does capitalism.

Their ideas have been failing since the first days after they were "implemented".

Children can never run the store (or the till) for very long.
