This is quite interesting

I never heard (much) about Romney's stand on immigration. Now I know why. His actions as governor were diametrically opposed to the establishment repubs with whom we thought he shared the dais.

We can never have the perfect candidate. What we should look for though, is someone whose interest is in testing each challenge against the three pillars of true liberty; the right of free speech, the right to own private property, the right to protect oneself.

I just thought of something. There appears to be a link among these. A thread, so to speak, which is dissent. Upon the right of free speech, one is at liberty to publicly disagree. Upon the right to private property, one is at liberty to refuse penetration. Upon the right to protect oneself, one is at liberty to decline coercion with overpowering force.

Dissent is the right of the free.
