by complacency and a Supreme Court that are just as political as the politicians to be fixed by an amendment. If we open a constitutional convention, we need to fix the problem for good. Capital punishment for any lawmaker that votes for an unconstitutional law. Think that will make them think about their votes? Supreme court with voter recall of individuals...hmmmthat might make for some common sense rulings instead of ducking cases because we, the people, don't have standing in constitutional questions. What about equal protection under the law and a court that can encourages affirmative action. How about growing wheat in your back yard is interstate commerce......sheesh.
