Facebook Takes Down Patriotic Page. The Reason Will STUN You!

For decades, the American left subtly undermined the principles of American exceptionalism. Their disdain for our nation and our heritage came in subtle jabs at parties and around the dinner table with extended family on Thanksgiving. We all know the type- those who would ungracefully break-up each Fourth of July or Thanksgiving with an assertion that our national pride was built upon the deaths of American Indians.

These killjoys, however, have morphed into something far more serious and far more dangerous; the left now crusades against American pride in a militant fashion, deeming our heritage “offensive” and denigrating long-held institutions.

Now, the Marine Corps, itself, is in the crosshairs of the cultural reformers who loathe our nation while eagerly exploiting the opportunities she affords.

Facebook, the online social media giant that has become more and more controlling of thought over the years, has taken down a popular Facebook page called “Locked and Loaded” because the page included a Marine Corps symbol in remembrance of the unarmed Marines that were slaughtered by an Islamic jihadist earlier this month.

Apparently, according to Facebook administrators, the Marine Corps logo “violates community standards.”

“Locked and Loaded” Administrator Robert Combs also received a three-day “time-out” from Facebook for his role in furthering the “violation.”

“I am just speechless as to how this violates community standards,” he said.


Facebook, the go-to conduit of online communication, has become increasingly hostile with conservatives. As online users encouraged the murder of a Texas cheerleader for having gone hunting and posted the hunting pictures online, Facebook ruled that the advocacy of her murder was acceptable. However, many conservatives have been targeted and banned from Facebook. One was banned for posting a picture of a Lilac tree, which Facebook said was “pornographic.” Another was punished for having said “thank you.”

Facebook aside, this is not the first time anti-American zealotry has targeted the Marines. Not only were they the target of a vicious jihad just weeks ago, but the President still refuses to arm our troops for their own defense and even took 4 days to finally lower the flags to half mast in the wake of the shooting.

The very day that the Supreme Court affirmed homosexual unions, the president turned the White House- the people’s house- into a rainbow light show in a sign of solidarity with those who were successful in diminishing the meaning of marriage.

In 2013, a patriotic young man made headlines after he was disciplined by his middle school for wearing a Marine Corps shirt.

When will it finally be acceptable to be proud of American exceptionalism? Our president, with his every decision, works to divide the people here in the U.S. and weaken our position on the world stage with foreign leaders. Our military is being used as a social experiment for radical social engineering and now, to show American pride (or, God forbid, Confederate pride)is treated as a hostile act.
