This could be a good soap opera serial Perhaps -- "Where the ship hits the fan" or "Where the rubber hits the road, well almost".



Don't believe the crap you're being fed by the Biden administration and their sycophantic news media that the container ship backup at the ports in California is due to Covid or some of their other excuses...A large part of it is caused by a truck driver shortage due to typical Democratic policies that the unintended consequences were never thought out. Of course the news media...also known as "the propaganda mill"..... won't report that fact because they protect these imbeciles.

The infamous "California Truck Ban" which says all trucks must be 2011 or newer ....and a sister law the California Democrat morons passed called AB 5 which prohibits 'Owner Operators' from servicing the ports and other transportation centers and hubs. "Owner Operators" are non-union.

In the years prior to these laws being passed the ports have been served by both union and non-union...but mostly non-union. Now with the new laws designed to protect the unions...which of course are in the Democrat's pocket....all non-union truckers are now banned from the ports.

Also...Under the new draconian C.A.R.B. (California Air Resources Board), California began to block certain truck's DMV registrations last year (2020). Carries domiciled in California with trucks older than 2011 models, or using engines manufactured before 2010, will be required to meet the Board's new ridgid Truck and Bus Regulation which began last year or their vehicles will be blocked from DMV registration. All due to exhaust emmision standards (see the recent ban on lawn mowers) and idiotic poorly planned Climate Change policies. (sorta like the Afghanistan withdrawal...but I digress)

The union trucking companies are purchasing some newer trucks,..... but not many...... because California has another NEW law that will make even the newly purchased trucks illegal in 2035. Long term... Once 2035 arrives all trucks in California must be electric...which as of now in 2021 electric semi trucks DO NOT EXIST!

....or maybe they aren't 'morons' and this disruption and resultant shortages and hardships is part of their plan all along.
