in the Justice dept put their heads together and acting as defense att for Hillary, decided on the "no intent" defense and all the interviews or evidence of gross negligence would not change anything. Only an att from the new school of law could except this ridiculous line of reasoning. There is an intent precedent in the law. You are not guilty if you did not intend to do what was illegal. For example, if you hit someone while falling down, you are not guilty of assault. The law has nothing to do with what the outcome is, it is whether you intended on doing what was illegal. Hillary fully intended on setting up the server and mishandling classified material. She didn't do it to give the information to the Russians. She did it to shield her from history as she furthered her political career. That does not change the fact that she violated the laws about retention of public records and the obvious security violations of classified material.
